The Because You Serve Project was started by The Because You Serve Fund. The Fund was started when it was expected that some conglomerate or large companies would sponsor this campaign. Once it was understood that would not happen, The Project was established for the American people.
There are a few things required to participate in this campaign:
1. One must pay tribute to be considered a participant. This entails purchasing a tribute video for one or more United States service people.
2. Once you have paid electronically, you will be bounced to a landing page. On that page, you'll find a GIF and video that the campaign needs you to post on your social media, website, phone or any other public/online devices, for others to see. Your promotion of your tribute will encourage others to do the same. This is how we will reach as many Americans as possible and complete our campaign.
3. Should you learn that people are posting as if they've paid tribute, but have not, please contact us immediately at 313-757-5293 or email us at [email protected]. We'll contact them directly.
4.Tell anyone who'll listen, that you have proudly paid tribute to those that have served and that they should do the same.
5. You ARE NOT allowed to ever post this tribute video, ANYWHERE. Please don't take this personally. We are aware that your contribution made our mission possible. But this is the heart of our campaign. This tribute is FROM those of us that have not served TO those that have. We believe this action would diminish our extollation to those that are being honored. It's as if you buy your loved one an engagement ring, but you are the one that's wearing it. Please respect their privilege to do what they will with their tribute video.
6. There will be those of you that pay tribute to more than ten (10) heroes. You will be emailed a different award, according to the amount of tributes you pay. Feel free to post the Certified award until your award is received. Please post the award chosen for your benevolence. It is how we can show others that there are different awards for different giving levels.
7. As long as you've included your email address, with your payment, we will contact you via email when our campaign is completed. Then we can all celebrate this grand mission we've all accomplished.
Refund policy
The Because You Serve Project is a campaign, not a company. There is no product you'll receive for your purchase. You are paying tribute to another.
Therefore please understand, there will be no refunds. Once you make a transaction, your tribute is ordered in a video medium and getting prepared for delivery. All purchases are final. Please make sure you are selecting the correct amount of tributes you want to furnish before you complete your purchase.
